Mindmap

Before i start designing i wanted to make a rough sketch of the how the User flow will be so i constructed a mindmap in Figma.

Colours

I wanted to keep the colours minimum so, i picked 3 of the common colours used for book printing so it feels like a book reading experience

With the User flow chart in mind i started researching on how the interface will look like. After going through different E-book and audio app i finalized these frames for my design representing the funtionality of the app.

Simple registration process to start your journey as a reader

Home and Search

Home page recommendation is based on the Genre selected by the user and his search history and book selctions

Library & Highlighted

Library shows book and audio lasted read or listened, white also showing the saved lists.

Highlighted section displays the wording and audio the user highlighted

E-Book & Audio

Information on the book with read and audio option. Highlighted and se3quals and prequals of the book following with the author info and other book written by him. User can also leave review and rating at the end.

If there are no audio for this book then the audio button will not be shown and only the read option will be displayed.

Reading

The readinf page come with option to customize the reading to the user comfort. The user can highlight the sentence and save it, option of search for words which will direct it top to the search engine online. The reader can also switch to audio, it will lead the user to the same place where he stopped reading.

Audio

The user can customize the audio between language chosen and adjust the speed and voice to his liking. The user can select the place to mark and save it to the highlighted section.
